These are the most detailed spy shots I have seen so I thought I'd post it.

Wow. Only one thing I can say about that rendering....
RUBBISH.
3-slat grill? Look at the actual photos.
CLS lights? Are you kidding me?
Flat hood? Don't quit your day job with those photochopped pics.
.. and don't mind the big-a$$ lights on the bottom of the front fender that you forgot.

Link was posted because of the actual spy shots from the SL in the gas station, not the old renderings that have been out for months.

The real 'next big thing' is the upcoming Gullwing. I just read in Autocar that it is going to be the SLC. I am glad that I am #1 on the list at my dealer for that one!

I know sales on the SL are stagnant bc everyone that wants one has it by now, but making an ugly car isnt the way to boost sales. They really should should just do the full re-body now rather than make an "uglier" SL for 2-3 years. Personally the 230 chassis is so beautiful and perfect I just cannot imagine how on earth they are gonna top it. Its just one of those designs that will be sleek and beautiful for many many years....hopefully the ABC suspension along with the plethora of electronics can hold up in 20-30 years haha.

I am not sure that I am buying into the CLS lights. I think I prefer the way the car looks right now.

I think the nose & hood will be more SLK like. Personally I think it will look good. The SL has always been about style and beauty, and M-B's styling department has consistently produced winners. Can't judge those pics too seriously.
