First of all congratulations, any pics? Do you have extended warranty? Was it CPO?

I was the first guy on the block in '03 with one, and I paid $130 out the door. Its a great car and I love it. The depreciation is annoying, but it is what it is.
Enjoy and be safe!

CPO is Certified Pre Owned. Most manufacturers sell used cars through their dealers as CPO if they have gone through specific inspections. They will also put a factory extended warranty on the car.

Car Whore
btw $5k for the extended warranty was to much... should be $1.5-$2k'ish
and if you paid for the extended warranty then it wasnt CPO AFAIK.
where the hell are the pics?![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
get some 20" wheels for it ASAP

Thats about right on the warranty costs.
But Fletcher can be a daunting experience
for service. You need to TELL THEM in no uncertain terms that the car is not working as it should. You should be getting a loaner. You should not have to take it back NUMEROUS times for the same issue. It should not take DAYS to get your car repaired. Fletcher is famous for selling cars and then treating customers poorly when it comes to service issues. Dont be mad or insulting.
But do NOT take NO for an answer. Make sure someone experienced with AMG
models is working on your intercooler pump issue. Whats nice about your warranty is you can take it to other dealers for service if Fletcher gives you the run around on warranty repairs. And there are way better dealers for service around here than FJ Newport Beach. But that free Latte is nice.

Saddly Fletcher is just so BIG. Unless you have some history or a contact
you may have some challenges getting decent service from them post sale.
I use:
Anaheim Hills / Caliber. I have a contact. PM me if you need help.

No longer car shopping...
Nope, the 3 day period does NOT apply to cars (or houses for that matter)....It's yours but it sounds like you did well (being CPO and all). You "may" be able to get out of the additional warranty within 3 days though. I'm not a lawyer and never played one on TV. But, as with anything like that, you'd have a tough time getting them to "give back" anything. They would **** and moan that the $5K was "part of the deal" or simply stall until your three days was over. IMHO, the 1 year "should" have been good enough.

I just an '04 w/ similar mileage sell for 48K, so ou definately overpaid, but you bought a CPO so its ok, as long as your problems are covered your good don't worry abuot an extra few thousand, peace of mind is priceless with a car like that

You did overpay but so what. I bought my SL on a whim just because it was close by and I wanted it for that weekend LOL, not because it was the best deal or had the lowest miles for the price. I am impatient. I didn't want to wait 2 weeks for one to be shipped for a lower price or less miles or this and that. Enjoy the car.

The cheap warranties are not factory warranties.
Enjoy the car. 60k with a warranty is not that bad. I just bought my lease out and my SL55 has 32k miles and it is an 04. I ended up paying 67k for the car and then the 4k for the warranty. That price was a bit high but i know the condition of my car and i would rather pay extra to know its history than buy a car sight unseen at auction. My warranty is not CPO but its roughly the same cost. Plus the non cpo warranty covers more items.
Enjoy the car.
