SWEET! Thank you guys so much :-)

So I can buy like any pair I want and it should fit right? ie, depth isnt a factor, they should all be the same size right? Also, does it have a separate tweeter or is the tweeter built into the 6.5"? I think im going to go with:

Infinity Kappa 63.7i (6.5" @ ~$85)
Infinity Kappa 42.7i (4" @ ~$60)

Input? I had Infinity Kappas in a previous car and LOVED them. My other choice is the equivalent pair by Alpine..

Hey, I purchased the speakers (Infinity Kappas) but had second thoughts. After talking to this guy at Mobile One, I decided not to. He said that the Infinity speakers (or any aftermarket speakers) would have less bass vs the stock ones. He raised some good points which convinced me at the time that I cant recall. He said they would increase clarity and the highs, which isnt particularly what I am concerned about, so I refunded them.

I love bass and im not spending a few hundred $ to have less of it..

You could always change the door speakers and swap out the stock sub. It will sound A LOT better, which is a what few members including myself have done.

when I purchased my car, it had an upgraded system from the previous owner, this is what it had...
headunit - Eclipse AVN-5495 dvd, nav, w/ sirius sat tuner.
door speakers - Morel Elate 6 (6.5 2 way components)
Boston Acoustics mono Amps
sub - JL Audio 8" w3v2

I ended up blowing the subwoofer. I replaced it with another, but I am going redo the system again in the spring time.

The stock sub is located in the passenger footwell. (this is where the new is, but a new footwell box was fabricated for the aftermarket sub)
