offset and lug bolt size is incorrect for W203's.

w203 uses a 12x1.5mm bolt while R230 uses 14x1.5mm

incorrect rlee you have no idea what you're talking about the offsets are perfect 30/33. What's the deal with bolts? Sounds like I'll just use the acorn washer that porsche uses and no biggie-

I'm looking for a set of 22 spoke "turbine" type if anyone has a set.

AMGSC why would I want the same rims I already have? I want 8.5/9.5 not another set of 7.5/8.5

Regarding the different bolt hole sizes- I dont' see why I can't just use a taperd bolt or rounded stle like this:

http://www.eurosportacc.com/hr_wheel_bolts_studs.htm

I think that would work just fine no? I could also find a set of washers that are 1mm in diameter to go around the bolt as well I guess.

I just bought an 05 sl600 w/"turbine" style & looking to upgrade to some 20" aftermarket wheels, I looked on ebay they go for $1500-1899 in good ondition like mine w/tire, I'll sell you mine for $1000 where are you located?

Look just like these from ebay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-OE...1757QQtcZphoto

I think the offset won't work on my c55. Are these 18's or 19's? I'd also be interested in a set of 19's if they came with tires I guess, although I just bought re01r's not too long ago. Thanks Sean

OEM SL600
Wheel Size: 18x8.5 / 18x9.5
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
Wheel Offset: 25MM F/30MM R
Wheel Finish: Polish Silver

I honestly don't know anymore/or if compatible w/c55

According to this guy on ebay aution: Fitment:Mercedes SL500 SL550 SL55 SL600 CLS500 CLS550 CLS55
they do fit CLS55 so if CLS55 whls fit ur c55 ur good to go I think, but call an expert or the tire place from Ebay auction they seem to know what there talking about.

There # is in my link aboe.

Found some info for ya.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
the CLK63, E63, and CLS63 cars.

I decided I'm going to keep my car now for at least the next 3-5 years, so I wanted to "update" the look of the car to keep it in line with the current 63 cars (especially with the very aggressive C63 coming out). The new rims are from a CLK63, with the titanium silver painted finish. 8x18 ET34 in the front, and 8.5x18 ET30 in the rear. I'm using my original stock rubber, 225/40 R18 fronts, and 245/35 R18 rears.

He is running CLK63, E63, and CLS63 wheels on his C55 in these pix...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
another post by same guy....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for all the compliments.

I was pretty sure the W209 CLK63 rims would fit a W203 C55 as they essentially share the same underpinnings. Remember that the CLK63 has even bigger 6 piston and 4 piston brakes than the stock C55, so there should not be any issues with brake clearance.

Even though the front offset is 4 mm more than the stock front C55 rims, the CLK rim is 0.5 inches wider, so that the actual front track width is slightly WIDER than the tock C55 setup. For sure the rear track width is also increased, given a 4 mm decrease in offset for the same rim width.

I bought the Style VI rims directly from Mercedes Benz Canada (dealership), who got them shipped from AMG in Germany. I simply gave them the part numbers, which you can find out from the 2007 AMG Accesorries Brochure (which you can download from the AMG international website. The Style VI rims come with either a titanium grey paint finish, or with the standard sterling silver paint finish.....make sure you provide the right part number.

See pic below (from the AMG international website) to see the part number for the Style VI rim in titanium grey paint finish, which is what I bought.

No, I'm not planning to sell anything at this point, although I may change my mind in the future. Going to keep my stock Style IV rims for occasional track duty.

Nice. I like the look but want more contact patch. Too bad you can't get that style in the proper offset in 8.5/9.5 . I like the sl55's as they look like the clk63 black rims

so I've spoken to a few wheel lug wholesellers and they noted that using ball type 12mm bolts work just fine and it's no big deal. Anyone in SD have a 14mm rim that I can take a bolt off and check that? Thoughts? Thanks.
