Help anyone?

The rear lip spoiler on my SL55 is driving me crazy. The driver's side corner keeps coming loose. Over the winter I removed the spoiler completely, removed the old tape and put new tape on the underside. I waited for a nice warm day and re-installed the spoiler. Yesterday I noticed that the same side is coming loose again. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to keep it attached? I would like to fix this without removing it again.

Thanks

Thanks for the offer to help. I have contacted jLeviSW and asked if they would be producing the SL63 rear spoiler and they confirmed that they would this summer. I most likely will be getting it and for this reason will the existing wing be able to be removed using the 3M product?

Thanks again

3M makes an adhesive used for trim pieces which works wonders.
Its available for a couple dollars at any auto parts store.

The Duramix is used instead of tape to bond it to the deck lid. It is a product use by body shops and I have used it to bond rear window valance, rear wing, etc. Sometimes the wing will get distorted and the tape isn’t strong enough. When this happened to me I started using this stuff and have been very happy with it.

I think that I would have a problem putting crazy glue on my paint. But, I guess if you want it to stay put......

He can always stick with the tape.

When I wanted my rear wing to stay on I bonded it and never had a problem. If his wing lifted twice with the tape why do that way a third time. I would bond it properly once and never have to worry about it again. You purchase the Duramix from a local automotive paint supply and rent their gun to dispense. Or you can purchase the gun like I did for about $145.00 It is far better than tape.
