Best,

I belive mine came from E-bay. But they are hard to find.
Dealer have them for about $2.000 without airbag (converted from Swedish currency, might be cheaper in the US.).
Makes a big difference in how the car feels! I love mine! Here is a pic of mine.

EDIT: I belive You have 2003 SL55?
Then You will loose the gearshift buttons on the steering wheel since there is two different types of wiring 2003-2004(?) and 2005(?)-up.
That is if no one have came up with solution to this problem?

Nicke, are your saying that by fitting DTM wheel on your 04 SL you've lost the steering wheel gearshift feature for incompatibility of wiring?

I did not have that option on my car so I lost nothing.
But yes, two different wiring. Changed when they changed the command.

I have a really interesting AMG wheel with alcantara and exclusive leather. It has an exclusive leather airbag as well. I was going to put it in my SL55, but I think I'm going to sell the SL, so I don't plan to install the wheel. If you are interested, I can put up pics. I've never seen the wheel before. It is beautiful and really matches up with the AMG as it has the exclusive leather on the binnacles and the alcantara inside the binnacles.

I have a custom tune done by the most respectable ECU tuner here in Sweden.
Turbo center Stockholm.

They have been doing some work for Kleemann when they got stuck with a problem.
All tuners turn to them when they are facing some problem.
I'm real happy with the tune but I think You are a little far off

I would like to see this steering wheel as well. I wanted to do the DTM, or the performance package wheel with the paddles, but alas the wiring issue got me. I even spoke with AMG and they said not to attempt it.
