The Launch Edition SL63 or whatever it was I test drove the other day, had the SL63 F1 safety car bumper if I remember correctly. Ingenere, also noted this on his review thread.
The 030 Performance Package just gets upgraded suspension tuning, better brakes, LSD, and 186mph limiter. Im not sure of the exact specs though. Need to look over the NetStar prinout.

I don't know about the bumper - it might be too low for the street - but the SL Black will be out around next March, but it will be a fixed roof version of the SL.

There is a factory-installed package on both cars (CL and SL) that replaces the plastic with carbon and adds carbon mirror-housings, but this option is not available in the US.
If I recall correctly, you can get the required parts for a retro-fit from your local dealer. At least that's what another member posted here before.

Just plain black plastic - just as on the CL-AMGs.

They have no Performance Studios in the US.... My dealer says they can't even order those parts as the numbers are blocked in the US.

I had the option to order things from the AMG Performance Studio as did WSH. I take it not all dealers have this?
Though, I never did order anything from AMG Performance given the prices were quite exorbatently high.

If I remember correctly, over in the AMG Owner's Lounge they announced that they are going to be brining the performance studio to the US tis year.

There's actually 7 AMG performance studios coming or currently in the US. One of the 7 is coming to a dealership in my area.
