What do you think about this color?
If you were to order this color, would you order it with black interior, black interior with red stiching or black & red interior?
I kinda like it...it's different, just not sure...looking for opinions.

Maybe the picture shows up differently on a computer screen but this color is definetely on the grey side as opposed to the green side.
This was a "launch car" for the SL 63 by Mercedes in Yosemite Grey (flat, matt finish) and is apparently available as an option at, of course, an increase in price.
Hmmm...grey or white interior...I have to think about that...both probably look great although I am thinking white may be a liitle harder to care for?
Just thinking out loud...if Mercedes can do a flat, matt finish in grey, can they not do a flat matt finish in black?

definitly flat grey, but haven't heard until now they offer it. Looks great though
The guys at the German AMG forum are already complaining about the cheap silver air inlets and are happy to see it painted! Looks much better...

You should high-tail it over to the AMG showroom in Affalterbach - I saw a SL63 there last week in this Yosemite Grey. It's definintely not green. The matte effect really sets it apart from other cars, but I find it a little unpleasant to the touch.
The interior was a tasteful combination of black, white and grey-brown leather, with Performance Studio touches such as the AMG crest embossed into the armrest. There are no price stickers in the AMG showroom (if you have to ask ...) so I can't tell you how much all this costs over the regular SL63.

If anyone is able to get to the AMG showroom in Affalterbach, could you please snap a few pictures of the interior so we can see what it looks like. Would really appreciate it.
Really considering this color but have not been able to find any good interior pictures...I'm having a hard time picturing black/white/grey-brown interior but who knows...may look real good.

I especially like how they painted that silly panel to match the rest of the car.
The color reminds me of the one seen on the Lamborghini Reventon....pretty cool.

The AMG private lounge now has a forum for people taking snaps of the showroom, so check there. Or you could probably pester AMG to shoot you a photo - it is a showroom, after all.

FYI, the car I saw in the AMG showroom is featured in the 2008 AMG Performance Magazine (along with a big spread on the SL63). The article says the car is making a circuit of the USA this summer as part of an AMG promotion of its Performance Studio.
I particular like the way they mixed the Yosemite Grey and "Pebble Beige" leather inside the car.
