Just bought an SL55.. new boy

Hi Chaps,

Have just bought an 03 SL55, collect tomorrow. Prices in UK have dropped considerably, and could not resist a bargain.
Car is 1 owner, 26k miles, Silver all options from main dealer.

Will use for summer hooning.
Also have a 997RS for fast road and am racing a 997 cup car in Porsche Open series in UK, am racing at Silverstone on May 31st.

Cheers
Rob

Am gonna look at the ECU re-map + pulley upgrade.. + possible exhaust tweak!

What is the best way to get a good exhaust sound, without having to spend mega bucks..?

Congrats Rob, hope you enjoy it.

If I were to set about "hooning" in my CL55, what type of equipment would I need? An what would be the goal?

Thanks for educating me, I grew up speaking American.

Congrats, Kurgen. That sounds like a great deal! I'm also driving a SL 55 and a Porsche and I've learned that you just cannot get the feel of these two worlds in one car... so there's no way around getting them both!
