2005 Sl 55 Turbo
Looks like the facelifted SL 2005 will have the SLR look, slightly smaller engine, but with increased power due to turbo. Supposed to increase performance at lower gas consumption.
Air-bags should be revolutionary - kind of a pillow over arms and head.
All I can say - the new design looks awesome, might be time to go back to your MB dealers - and get your name on the new waiting list

Im Jahr 2005 steht das Facelift des SL's an. Eigentlich sollte er nach schon 2001 im SLR Look erscheinen, doch es war keine Zeit mehr das schon fertige Design des SL's noch einmal zu überarbeiten. Deshalb bekommt der SL den SLR Look beim Facelift. Neu im SL ist dann auch die neuen V-Motoren. Dazu zählt ein V6 und ein V8 Motor plus die AMG-Variante. AM SL 600 wird erstmal nichts geändert. Doch die V6 und V8 Motoren werden komplett umgestellt. Sie werden im Hubraum auf drei und vier Liter reduziert und erhalten eine Turboaufladung. Dadurch sollen die Leistungsdaten gegenüber den jetzigen Modellen steigen, der Verbrauch aber sinken. Im SL-Facelift feiert dann auch die 2. Generation des ABC Premiere! Auch auf dem Sicherheitssektor sollen neuartige Lammella-Airbags bei einem Seitenaufprall oder Überschlag den Kopf und Arme des Insassen schützen

cheap photoshop job, can´t believe the SL facelift will look so! but we´ll have to wait another year until the new SLK arrives, should be the first mercedes with the new F1-nose.

It's a fake.
Never in mercedes history has a facelift been so drastic. If anything, those rear lights (sl500) need to be changed. They look like they came straight off a pontiac. I don't think they were creative enough when they designed the rear.

looks like a mix from the SLR and the SL... also nothing was in the german press... -> fake
