I don't like the way that the lower body parts look added on especially just below the front grill and sides. Porsche does this sometimes better sometimes worse. For this money they should do better.

I can't understand why some people think the facelift on the new SL's is a downgrade; it looks absolutely amazing, not to mention the huge air dams in the black series. I wonder if the front is available for purchase to fit on new model SL's

I've had 3 people over to the dealership by me to see what they thought of the 2009 vs the previous SL and all three of them like the 2009 better. Go figure.

We were at our booth at Concourso Italiano all day. I would have loved to see that car. Hopefully it will be around this weekend.
Even though we were at an Italian car event 6 AMG's and 4 BMW's scheduled with us to have their cars tuned! Go figure!

CLK63 Black Series
No Seats for U.S. Market
Unfortunately, the word is that those seats will not be available in the U.S., thanks to our all-knowing legislators who have decided that they know how to watch out for our safety, much better that we would ever do, ourselves.
Just as they had to do with the CLK63 Black Series, those nice carbon-fiber side panels will have to be replaced with leather covering the side air-bags. As a result of the air-bags, the seats will have to go, as well.

CLK63 Black Series
Definitely is a stunning car.
It reminds me of the first time that I saw a Gull-Wing 300SL.
I'm sure if I were a teenager, again, I would definitely be fantasizing about owning the SL65 Black Series . . . just as I did back then about the 300SL.
