SL-Class Significant Face Lift?
(I am sorry if this has been answered previously but I didn't see it if it has.)
Is there a SL-Class significant face lift coming in next couple of years?
Thanks.

Really??? Where did you get this info??? I haven't read anything about the next gen SL yet but typically MB runs the same gen SL for more then a decade before a replacement platform arrives. The R129 ran for 12 years, the R107 for 17 years...so what makes you think the R230 is going to run for 9 years, give or take 1 year???

It's not outside the realm of possibility. I'm just trying to figure out of you actually know something that is fact or are just guessing. Based on your response, I'll assume just guessing.

Back when Cordes was running MB he put the next SL off until 2012. That was reported a few years back which is one more reason why the current R230 got another, this time extensive facelift.
That and the fact that market has changed and no car can go 12+ years anymore while remaining competitive. Figure 09, 10, 11, and new for 2012.
Of course there is nothing "official" yet, why would there be when they've got 3 more years to sell the current car?
Guessing (semi-educated) is all you're going to get at this point.
