SL55 auction prices

Can anyone post recent auction prices for 2005 and 2006 SL55's. Thanks...these recent wholesale sales will be more useful than Edmunds or KBB. Their prices are much higher than current market and appear to be many months behind in being updated???

2003 S500; 2004 E55; 2006 SL55 030; 2013 CLS63

Speed Doc - Based on the above info can you extrapolate what price range the following car might fetch at auction? 06 SL55 19K miles with all options, including 030. Condition is excellent which I guess in auction terms equates to "above average" - color is black and the original MSRP was $150K. Vehicle is at a MB dealer in VA - asking $79K which seems to be well into SL65 territory. I'm a newbie and have found this site to be an incredible source of info. Thanks in advance for your insight. I paid 45,700 plus shipping for an 04 with 21k miles a few months ago...

Thanks AMG - I appreciate your insight. That was a great price you got on the '04! Like a lot of other people these days, I'm not in any rush to part with $$$ right now. Since I'm in Wisconsin, an SL will not be of much value as we head into winter. Unless I come across a really irresitable deal, perhaps 'll let it ride until spring when I suspect prices will have dropped even more - maybe making a SL65 even more within range. Regards, PJ
