Brand new SL63 on the Garden State Parkway yesterday, NY Plates
Very nice car, top down, gunmetal with red interior, reminded me of my car's color scheme actually. I dunno if the guy's on here, I was trying to get his attention by pulling up next to him. Rather than look at me he did the old, "I have a huge chip on my shoulder and refuse to look anywhere but straight ahead" move. As soon as I got up on his flank he gunned it all of ten feet into the traffic in front of him.
Not the best attitude of any motorist I've come across. REALLY nice car though, made me really want one.

Yeah, you're right, just add the 20z to the sl55 and it destroys the SL63 in looks... {{Alarm clock}} wake up.. Stop hating,it's alright if you have the older dated version of the SL..

I just test drove a sl63 yesterday.
I have to say I am incredibly impressed. When you start the engine it gurgles and shakes a little and then smooths out. I drove onto the ramp on the highway at triple the speed limit and nailed it. It literally was like a video game. The transmission shifted quicker than a ferrari 430 I drove and the torque was sick runiing through the gears. It literally was the most visceral experience I have ever had in any car. I wish I had dropped the top to really hear it.
The only negative about the car was the front end had all that stamped plastic. I really dont understand this fact. I really liked the gloss black metal wire on all past AMGs. Someone will fix this shortcoming.
If any of you get the chance to drive this masterpiece jump on it.

Saw a very new looking black SL65 at Washington Dulles on Wednesday, parked out in the middle of the hourly garage away from any other car. It had some interesting features, at first glance I wasn't sure if it was a Black Series...

I test drove one the other day. Besides the obvious - speed, looks, overall performance - one of the coolest things on the SL 63 is that the speedometer and tachometer do a 3/4 anti-clockwise revolution when you start up the car - just like a race car. Cool.
