SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Goodbye SL55, Hello SL65 Front bumper

Goodbye SL55, Hello SL65 Front bumper
Just removed the stock SL55 front bumper and replaced it with a SL65 front bumper. Looks more impressive to me. And the origional was needing repainting anyway.
Found this at a junk yard. It is marked AMG SAFETY CAR on the lower end. Is that common or was this really off a safety car? (But it was black).
Bought new grills and fog lites. All the other parts were transferable.
Now I do have the origional SL55 bumper and grills and fog lites to sell. If anyone needs them or wants to transform a regular SL to AMG bumpers.

I AM done. I dont fool around with these small projects. I will add a couple pics to show the final product.

SL 55 AMG
not a big fan of the 65 front bumper ..... the 2008 sl55 chrome grill/front bumper front end looks sweet. thats wat im planning to do

I added the 2008 SL 55 bumper to my car too. Keep in mind that you will also have to upgrade the grille. The old grille does not fit exactly with the new bumper. But the new(er) grille does look better anyway...

I know you have to find the bumper, the inner bumper lining panels, the 3 mesh grills, the new front grill, and if you have parking, the sensors mount differently so probibly 6 new sensors. So figure the bumper, and about $1500.

No, Brabus 2pc. They have thicker spokes. More beefy looking. I will try to put another picture on later.
