Picked up an 08 M6 this morning, white on black, all options cept heated steering wheel and high beam assist.
I still love the benz and will miss that torque, completely different machine. Exhaust note is exotic, steering and brake feel are leagues ahead. More to come after break in is over...

Fast cars in general....

Good choice going with the ///M. I too left the AMG side and crossed over to the M6. I love the car and there is nothing like it, the way the SMG drives just like a manual with out the clutch on the floor, 8250 redline. Very different beast then the SL55. No doubt an SL55 is faster down low, the M6 is really difficult to get off the line with so many options such as launch controll, m dynamic mode and how fast you want the gears to change and everything. GOOD LUCK WITH MODDING IT.

Watching that video again, that sure doesn't sound like an SL55, sounds like a 600/65 (sure it's not a 65 though...)
