SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Kleemann vs. Renntech?

Kleemann vs. Renntech?
I'm considering getting the ECU upgrade for my 220 65 before the end of the year and am undecided between Kleemann/Renntech. Do any of you have personal experience with either shop??.....who do you prefer, and why? Customer service/support is just as imporant to me as the results from the ECU upgrade. I'm assuming that both shops should yield near identical results?
Thanks in advance for any input and obviously feel free to PM me, or email me.

Do a search on Kleemann, there's a member "Rock" who sent his E55 to Kleemann at Colorado for stage K2 and really was very happy with performance & service. From what I read in this forum both are good tuners, Renntech more expensive than Kleemann. Also depends where you located and if you can drive your car to their shop for upgrades.

If you're doing a 65 then Renntech is the way to go. For a 55 Kleemann seems to be the better bet. VRP also has done some considerable work on the 65 as well and they're much cheaper than Renntech.

I had RENNTech on my former 600, for the 65 I am going with the VRP ECU and Cooling package. A local friend of mine who is on the forums has run 10.70s @ 129mph in a beta form. Do a search for username MarkoCL65.

Also, Kleemann does not touch the TCU. They do not believe that any power can be uncorked by doing it. They charge $4,500 for the ECU only tune. RENNtech charges $5,800 for ECU/TCU on the W215 and W220. I am leaning towards RENNtech...but probably won't do it now until the spring.
