SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: KLEEMANN Bi-Turbo ECU SPECIAL!
http://www.dragstuff.com/techarticle...reduction.html
I wasn't able to find any resources that I considered reputable that could help me understand how to quantify the effect of lighter weight rims on 1/4 mile times, but am sure that there must be some effect.
I wish you continued success.

IWell, t is on the way to Cory now and let see if it is a real deal for this tuning special. I have been waiting for some change since I get a little used to the power of 600 for two years. Time for her to step up. Will post up some result and dyno graph soon.....
Not sure why there are two different messages...

I'm a simple man so I'll put it simply- Cali gas is pig swill.

But unless I'm mistaken Kleemann has been sending us ECU's back with 93 octane tunes.
Cory can you step in here and help get to the bottom of this?

You crack me up!Over here on the East Coast we used to be able to get Ultra 94 octane at every Sunoco station... they stopped that as most states outlawed the octane boosting additive in the Ultra 94 because it was dangerous if it ever got into the water supply...

+1
Tom
I have 100 octane almost readily available in many spots within a 20 miles radius of my home

I hate CA tree hugger ***** 91, I routinely spike it w/Torco from what I've heard it is basically 87 octane that's treated w/boosting agents like Toloune (sp) etc..to bump it up to massive 91

Also multiple tuners have told me it is horrible low-grade gas, giving sub-par perf esp on boosted app's..

Fortunately we still have good ol' 93 round these parts... not to mention plenty of stations that pump 100.

Thanks in advance,

I’ve got an SL65-AMG and I’m very interested in your ECU tune. I know you have explained some of the details above in this thread, but would like to have a little more details on these to questions:
We have 99RON (octane) available allover in Denmark where I’m from, how will this affect the ECU tune?
As I’ve read in this forum Kleemann supposedly have a 100 octane tune – will this work or not?
I’ve read your commend on the TCU tune, that it is mostly recommended on SL600 – what exactly will I benefit from this or is it not necessary. (I’m not doing drag racing)?
