We had a heavy frost last night (Sat) and the temperature was just above freezing in the morning but I actually washed the cars with my sleeves rolled up, it felt amazingly warm in the sun

Hey Demon,
the motor looks the donkeys nuts, love the colour.
i had 3 off the older model sl,s when i lived in the Uk,all were in the dark blue,
on a sunny day there is no better colour.
The wheels set the motor off realy well and love the spoiler.
I have a silver 55 with sl65 wheels and the rear spoiler also,i would have been very intrested in a blue like yours but i have not seen one over here in Canada.
As mentioned earlier in the posts, you got lucky to get a sunny day, i left the Uk as i was getting webed feeet with all the rain.

happy motoring bc brit

That DEFINATELY adds some great character to your 55... I am thinking of doing the same wheel change... DO YOU GUYS THINK THE WHEEL CHANGE WOULD BE EQUALLY IMPRESSIVE ON AN IRRIDIUM SILVER CAR?... opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Those were the wheels I wanted intially but they would have cost another £1000 ........and when you've got two teenage daughters to run as well, I decided to go for the cheaper option

I think either style would look great on your car. I spent ages cutting and pasting wheels on pictures of our car before deciding to stick with AMG wheels.

I only changed the wheels as I decided it would be a cheaper option to stick with the current car than changing it for a newer one.

Yes it's a great car for the money, not as sophisticated as the Merc but you can have great fun around roundabouts because the traction control doesn't kick in as quick as German cars

Looks great. Makes the car have a nice modern, clean look. I Like the deck lid spoiler also. Tastefully done.

Am thinking these would look awsome:

Does anyone have pictures of the 3 different styles on SL55's?

What do you think to the above?
