Early Santa arrives at HoMe!!!
Just got today the VRP headers(shorts).
Already at home the AMS crakshaft pulley, PTE thermostat & Johnson pump.
Hopefully installation will be done this week or no later than early next week.
Now waiting for the BIG Santa Claus gifts, 360 FORGED - 20" Spec 5ive in flat black center & gloss black on lips.
New MB coolant & Red Line water wetter will be use when replacing the thermostat & Johnson pump.
BTW: yes the ecu is already being reprogram by Powerchip Group-93 octane.
This company really does deliver and is highly recommended.

You should PM Vadim@VRP (forum sponsor) and/or call him. They also have a website thats very imformative.
Also there are several members here, including myself, who are very impressed with Vadim's work and pefromance gained through his product and services. He is a very honest guy and knows MB's.

There's many tuners who may reprogram the ecu. Just search, also depends how much $$$$ vs $$$$$ you want to spend. Email the tuners and ask question to them and make your own decision once you collect all the information.
Okay, today we did install the headers(drivers side was PITA to remove &install). Tomorrow the PTE thermostat, AMS pulley & JP IC.
Pic's.
header on passenger side.
Need more information about how to install the JP IC?. The stock IC pump has 3 hoses & Johnson Pump has conector for 2 hoses. What I will do with smaller hose?

Cooling System Upgrades install Tips
Good Morning Rick : Ready for a Fresh day! As for which pump in the bumper / wheel house, that is for The IC cooling system. Just follow the hoses. There has always been some Question about splitting the I/C system away from the engine system? We have to remember that this series of Cars (Kompressor)has to be make to operate in the cold hi altitude mountions ,( SWISS Alps , snow passes in the Rockeys) as well as it does in the hot dry desert. The I/C system needs heat in the winter mountion regions so the Condenser coil doesn't freeze over with frozen moisture and block the Air flow coming out of the blower. Much like an recip airplane engine ,needs to use heat doors to funnel hot dry air to the Carb & Intake tube to keep the frost away. Where you are At , it is a good thing to keep some of the heat out of the I/C system. The thermostat assy will help quite abit. The T-stat assy has a bleed hole to help move any traped air . As you refill the engine cooling system ( Very Slowly add in the Coolant.) I Squeeze the upper radiator hose with my hand , It helps move the air that's in the coolant, up to the overflow tank. This may take several times, Have a Appleton & Coke between rounds!! Bleeding the I/C coolant is somewhat harder. you may have to excite the new Pump with an seperate wire, run it again several times . Drawing fresh coolant from a pail / bucket, and have the return line, empty back in the the same pail, until the air is ,minumal. Let it set between rounds. Remember the pump impeller , will break up large pockets of air into minute molecules . THose small air Molecules will gather up in a Hi point in the system. and then need to be move out before the pump breaks them up again.
Now as for the AMS Pulley install. Please be sure the the nice new holding fixture Tangs Fit Properly into the Pulley holes. If they do not Bewhere you might not get the bolt torque correct !!! I had several E-mails back and forth with OMEY. I sent them pictures of the pulley that was purchased by me. Showing that the tool like yours , did not fit properly. The anwser I got back was that the MB dealers use the Flywheel holding Fixture and you have to remove the starter to use that tool. AMS was very Quick to reply. ( A Good Thing ) Here's my letter and concerns
AMS again was quick in sending me a new installantion Sheet

This is of course just a FYI. For those who do their on Installs. Personally I've installed 2 of these with no problems or come backs. BUT I ask the Customer to come back and leave the car with me for a day. So I can recheck my work . I feel that the Crank bolt against the alum Balancer , relaxes A little bit. Giving the alum will grow & expand with heat. I don't loosen the bolt at this time and retorque it . ,but I just install the tool & pull it 10* More. This may seem a like a presidental solution. Or Back yard shade tree-ish. Have fun Rick GIve us your results Cheers ___PTEngineering

Thanks for your reply & advice.
Headers, PTE thermostat & Jonhson IC pump already installed. Tomorrow the tech will re-check everything and return my car.
AMS pulley eas unable to be installed because I bought the wrong crank pulley holder tool, will order the correct one and have to wait 1-2 weeks to install the pulley.
Tomorrow PM I will delete the resonators.
