WTB: CF REAR TRUNK SPOILER/LID & DIFFUSER FOR R230 (03 SL55)
anyone know where i can find CF rear trunk spoiler/lid & custom rear diffusers for my sl55?All i HAVE found on the internet were from europe and extremely expensive after tax and shipping..

What about the new SL63,65 rear bumper with massive center diffuser. It's not carbon but at least its oem and looks great! I just bought another SL55 and I plan on doing this rear conversion. Hopefully I can do the led taillights too.

my only concerns of doing that is the fitment, and also the difference of parking sensors..i am assuming that even the design of the sensors are different..

Go to www.formymercedes.com. Jerry, the owner, shows on his web site that the SL63 type trunk lid spoiler in carbon fiber will arrive in March. I have dealt with him in the past and he is a great guy with whom to do business.

The 09 rear bumper will fit up to your car, and there is actually a carbon diffuser available from MB. The original parktronic sensors will fit, and the whole setup with a plastic diffuser is around $1900. Add $4800 to that if you want the carbon diffuser.

I ordered the SL63 rear bumper n diffuser from the dealer in MD n only paid 1100 for it. im planning on painting the diffuser and lip spoiler 040 black to match my front grille n wheels. I also ordered from formymercedes.com n had a good experience. good luck with your project

I was going to treat my SL55 to an OEM CF rear spoiler. My dealer quoted me a list price of $3100 and wholesale of $2600! Yikes!
