Does anyone know what dealer in Dallas TX can lower an SL55 with the star system? It is a 2003 model. Thanks.

Have you checked with MB at plano pkwy? they might be able to help...
I'm taking delivery of my car soon, so I would be interested in knowing too.. otherwise I might purchase a module to control the height

It is possible to lower the ride height via the STAR system, but most techs are not familiar with the procedure.
We have a master tech that actually knows how to access the system and get it done. I am surprised that more techs have not learned all the ins and outs of the STAR system.

Just contacted my dealer/service department up here in PA to see if they'd play ball with lowering my SL55.
They are aware of the STAR program, but will not alter the default settings in the interest of sparing themselves from any litgation that could come out of any problem.
I'm in the metro-Philadelphia area where the ratio of lawyers to people is probably 3:1 and it seems like everyone is out to file a lawsuit at the drop of a hat.....

That's why you should go with Links. Only takes 30min to install and if you have any problems with your suspension, which I dought, can put it back to stock. Nobody would ever know that its been modified!!!

over 60 or is it 90.

My thoughts exactly. What is the point of lowering a car, it's just so we can show it off.
The true reason for lowering a car is to improve roadholding, and if it does this with speed then what's the point of lowering it.
Actually I have followed a SL55 on a motorway and it did look much lower than mine at standstill.
