AMG Comand screen at start up...
I know this has been discussed before, but can someone get me to the thread or give me some general directions? Thanks for your help.

I'm looking for a definitive answer or directions to one, if you can help. Since your "almost" a board member, would you mind courteously pointing me in the direction of the information (short of RTFL)?

I'm assuming that I press R230 for the SL? Or do I in fact press W211 anyway? Thanks again for your help.

I gotta ask... why do you have two of the exact same cars, a year apart? I know, I know... I had the SL55 simultaneously with the SL600, but I'm just wondering why you have two S-Classes? Just glad I'm not the only person who ever had to justify this.
Trying telling your neighbor sometimes you just want brute force, so you use the V8 and sometimes you just want a rocket, so you opt for the V12

2005 SL55, 2007 Acura MDX, 2008 Acura RL
I have read several ways to activate the setup screen. With no success for my 2005 55. I once gotten into an engineering screen but nothing that showed a w211 option.
It seems to be activated on different models in different ways. I again tried the thread instructions from above with no success.
