but from my personal experience, the mct is VERY different from the other 7g tranny in the other amgs. the shift speed is just on another level with the mct. it is just lightning fast. the upshifts are quite a bit faster while the downshifts are lightyears faster. the older 7g tranny is just SLOW with the gear changes. and i don't agree with the 55 engine sounding similar to the 6.2 engine. you said that putting an x pipe would make the sound more aggressive. then what about putting x pipe into the 6.2? im sure it will sound even better!
the only thing that the slk is better is its size and weight.
and i think you just need more seat time in the sl63.
