not to back him up or anything, but I know who this is and what work he does from other forums. In case you guys are thinking he is a BS'er, this is Vince, the owner of iForged. He has built TONS of cars, and on my resident forum is in the process of selling his Green Techart GTStreet conversion that you see on practically every car magazine. I can 100% gaurantee this conversion will be done. He may not hit the 1000hp mark, but he definitely has the skill, talent, and wallet to try. If you want to keep up with his more current posts check out 6speedonline. He probably forgot that he made a screen name here. But just to clarify, this isn't just any tuner's 'wet dream" or a guy putting a "k&n filter in". He is probably the number one euro luxury tuner in the world.

I think you'll be very happy with the muffler deletes... I've taken her quite a few times on lower wacker and man... audible nirvana is just an understatement...
FWIW, there have been a few Black Series widebody conversions already done, here's an SL63 with it.

Well said, if it had the 6.0L V12TT it would of been the cake and more, still have your droptop and the extra width from the BS conversion to run the widest you can to help the rubber dig in for traction. I won't be suprised if 65 owners start doing that.... BS Body Conversion + Having Hardtop + Tuned 6.0L V12 TT + Even wider Rubber = Dig in and still enjoy what makes it an SL!

I believe that photo is from the Inden-Design website, they quote:
Design: Complete change on Black Series: Fender in front Wheel arches in the back Hood Lamp units Inner wheel boxes in front and in the back Tail apron with diffuser Side kirts Tail spoiler (SL 65AMG) Steering wheel (w209) Exhaust system (final muffler) Lacquer finish complete vehicle except roof for $62,899.16
That seems quite extreme to me for the conversion. Anyone have a better source for this complete conversion as I am looking to convert my SL55.

I've seen their page before. I agree $63k is a small fortune to spend on a conversion kit.
Do you think someone like ESTA-International would be able to produce the kit for $20k? Not using OEM parts of course.
I like the SL63 conversion kit. But, I LOVE the SL65 Black Series conversion kit.
