Here you are, the pricing is in Euro's! But for some reason the link isn't working that takes you directly to the page. So click on the link, then click on the picture of the SL65 Blk and then on the next page on the very top of the page in small type mouse over the SL then the drop down box click on R230 and then the next page click on the Aerodynamics and then scroll down about a quarter of the way and you'll see the SL65 Blk. Wide Body Kit... Sorry about that but it must be due to the translation of the site that will not allow the direct link! But you should be able to find it...

On Geneva Motor show, beginning March 2009 I spotted the latest FAB design, I'll try to upload the pictures I took at my visit.

No body kit looks nearly as clean as the Black Series does. It is an amazingly aggressive design, yet perfectly balanced for the car.

One of the best looking cars on the road today is the Black Series SL.

that's not too bad....i got pricing on the sl63 conversion and that was over 25k-27k,,,,

so for the same price i'd do the black series version although the labor would cost more and also you'd need new offset wheels...
but once your done it;ll be sooo sexy

that's nuts...$25 - $27K ....all you'd have is a BS wannabe look-alike without the performance...why not use mod money to build a faster car; then have something to keep up with or out perform a BS

Or why not build the SL BS "wannabe" and mod it? It'd only cost you another 5-6K and you can bet your bottom dollar a modded 65/600 is faster then a stock BS. So you get the amazing looks of the BS while being faster.

I hear ya on that but at the end of the day it's still not a BS...everytime anyone asks you ..."is that a BS" you can say it's faster, better or whatever...but that doesn't answer their question...it's not a BS...may look like one but the BS is a limited production car so even with the good looks it has unique features like a fixed roof which can't be included in any makeover assembly....

To each their own...yes it would look amazing, yes it would turn heads, heck it may even outperform a BS...all that but it's still an imposter, plain and simple.

On that end, I agree as well. However, the Black Series bodykit to me anyways, is just that: a bodykit. Much like a Brabus bodykit, it's for looks. I would never advertise it as a true BS, heck I'd keep my 600 badges. I think the beautiful part about having the BS conversion done is you get the looks, plus performance PLUS the convertible top-- which is fixed as you pointed out on the true BS. It'd also be cheaper then the BS-- no matter which way you look at it, it's a win-win-win.

As for the fixed roof, I believe Kleemann does that. They take out all the motors and crap from your convertible and seal your roof to save 100 pounds I think. I wouldn't do it, but the BS isn't the first to have that.

some don't care to have a faster stronger car, cause at the end of the day you can only go the speed limit posted unless your at the track and for myself i'm not a track rat so i'd take looks and some power over crazy power

And some live in Mexico and don't obey speed limits...

A converted SL would have the BS looks... duh.

.
Akademiks well said.

I would not put the badges on either and would never lie to a any inquirer.
IMO It's the best looking body kit out there for the SL series .
I really like the option to put my top down as well and with the 200K savings you could easily make it out perform the BS though it will never say BS on your title. My self I wouldn't care and it most definitely would not hurt it's re-sale later.

It's not about the title for me, as you pointed out, any inquirer would get the truth-- it's just a bodykit. If only I had 40K collecting dust somewhere, I'd have a pissed of looking SL.

PS: You are the first person I can remember to spell my name correctly! For some reason members here spell my name "Akademics" or "Academics"-- it's not suppose to be proper lol!!!

Does anyone have the SL or CLK Black Series kit? Sarona, inden design and tc concepts are charging to much for the kit

I have SL (R230) 2004 and CLK W209 2006.

Surely someone can make one? or if someone is selling one?

I wish the original poster could've got some better pix that were of the entire car a bit further back w/out ALL the shadows, on blk SL it camouflages all the great 1/4 panel work except in the close-ups, I want to see this in brilliant silver or completely outt've the sahdows to be able to fully judge/appreciate what has been created, arghh

I'm interested in this. Got any more info on how to get this on our cars?
