SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Looking for SL55 muffler and tail pipes....

sl55 resonators will not fit the 500. Sl500 does not use resonators nor does it have provisions for them; on these cars most guys will straight pipe their factory mufflers and weld up some quad tips for looks and sound. Other than getting a sectional cut from the pipes pre-rear muffler and tips both L and R sides (and modifying your rear bumber cover to fit the larger amg tips), there is really nothing more you can swap over from the sl55 to the sl500. The only other alternative is going with an expensive eisenmann, brabus or other brand which will most likely need rear bumber cover mod...or having a master fabricator make you a custom setup where you spec the setup to what you want; which is what I did when I had my sl500 and pretty much "exhausted" lol
all other options of what I thought looked, sounded, and gave me the free flow that I was looking for after months of lookin around.

My rear apron has already been modified via Carlsson skirt and will fit the AMG rear...........so that is why I am still looking for an SL55/65/63 set up..........

Thanks Sunir,...but I know what I am looking for. Some people call the main mufflers "resonators", which is why I asked for pics and tips..........

I have sl55 exhaust for sale. Off of 2004 SL55 24000 miles on it when I upgrade my exhaust.
