2011 G55

Black or White SL63?

Hi guys,

I am getting ready to buy a SL63. My top choices are black and white with black interior. Options wise, it will be P1 Premium, pano and parktronic.

What's your call on the exterior color? I am thinking of white bc most SL63s are black.

Black cars are a pain to keep clean, mine are both black, but I love that color.

What about that special blue ? The color on the sl 55 that Damon Hill drove on U-tube ? Very classy, if its available !

Diamond White. Its a metallic version of Calcite White. Its the colour of my SL65 and I love it. Black is good too, but its a pain to keep clean, and I hear its a pain to polish. Also, hairline scratches are EXTREMELY visible on black. Go with white, its amazing... def wont regret it! (I'm bored of silver just btw)

Surprisingly, I would vote white. I just saw a white SL65 Black at my dealership and it was SWEEEET!

Black is a great color but the upkeep to keep it sharp is either labor intensive and/or expensive (relative to silver or white).

Good luck either way.

My Godness the SL63 looks fantastic in white. Nothing wrong with black. Most of my cars were black (FX45, SLK55 and my current SUV). Never had a white car, I think it's going to be it. Going to the dealer this week to check it out.

I agree. I am not a fan of white myself. It's only nice on certain cars. SL63 is one of them!

I HAVE HAD A BLACK S500 AND NOW A WHITE SL500 I HAVE TO SAY BLACK IS A SICK AND SEXY COLOR BUT YOU SEE EVERY LIL THING YOU CAN WASH AND WAX YOUR CAR 10 MIN LATER YOU SEE ALL THE DUST I BOUGHT MY SL I HAVE TO SAY I WILL NEVER BUY A DIFF COLOR OTHER THAN WHITE MAKE SURE YOU GET THE 2 TONE ASH ON THE INSIDE NO OTHER COLOR WILL LOOK GOOD NOT TAN GRAY OR RED

White with a nice set of brushed hre wheels & drop and it will be perfect! I've never had a white car, always black.. but my next car will be white, no doubt about it.

the few white sl63's i have seen had an ugly brown interior. if you could get a red or black interior, it would be preferable. black on black is always a winner in my opinion!

Go with Diamond White, everyone has black or silver. Be different and enjoy! Besides how long has it been since you've owned a white car. They look great and don't show the dust like black. I had a white M3 and loved it...
