SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Keyless Go
If you use two different cars Keyless Go cards/keys then it doesn't matter if you carry them together as the car will identify the correct one and disregard the wrong one. Same thing with some cell phones you get some wrong card message on the multifunction display meaning it has diregarded your Cell phones signal.
However, if you carry both Keyless Go cards/keys for your car with you then the computer could get confused and fail to locate the correct one once inside and fail to start the car.
This also leads to my belief as to why Mercedes is starting to have the Keyless GO system integrated into the main Key. If for some reason or another the Keyless Go system fails you will have the normal Electronic Key to get you home. I would never go on a long journey with only the Keyless Go Card only, out of fear that if the signal was interrupted by some outide factor or if the vehicle's SAM unit ,that keeps the Keyless Go system memory, failed I would get screwed whereever I was.
So - does that mean that on the SL55, for example an august delivery car, the keyless go will be built into the key? I certainly hope so...

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I live in the Cotswolds, which is an area about 80 - 90 miles west of London, characterised by the honey-coloured stone buildings.
Graham, perhaps I need to start taking a Sunday paper again, I find them all so depressing that it clouds my Sunday. I normally have a second set of wheels which I exchange when I fit new tyres and then get the old wheels refurbished.
