SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: SL Fails

SL Fails
Searching the internet, I've found a number of failed SLs. I've decided to share the worst of the worst with you. I honestly can't comprehend how some of these projects ever got off the ground-- you would figure someone would say something to the project leader: his wife, his kids, God, his dog, SOMEONE.
Anyways, enjoy (or not)...
Number One:
To view the extent of that failure, please see here. I urge you to not be consuming any beverages or food while viewing as it may pose a chocking hazard. Go to the bottom of the page and click to photo reel.
Number Two:
Good job on ruining a classic, you douche!
To view some more "swagger", as it were, please click here. If anyone has anymore regarding this vehicle, please feel free to share.
Number Three:
That's all I got on that SL-- seems like someone has been watching too much Fast and Furious for their own good. If anyone has any more info in regards to this piece, please post away!
Number Four:
Not sure what bright designer at some 3rd world tuning company is taking the hit for this piece, but there it is anyways. Follow the link for more fail.
Number Five:
Uuhh... there go the Saudis again-- too much money, not nearly enough taste.
Number Six:
Wasn't sure what to classify that as-- CL or SL, so I'll just leave it to FAIL. Yet again.
If anyone has any more gems they would like to post, feel free. I always love to see new creations, even if they were done by blind designers.
Anyways, enjoy (or not)...

OH. MY. GAWD.
I'll admit, I kinda like the lambo doors on a nicely modded SL, but WTF is going through these people's mind when they're building these cars. UGH.

Yeah, the CL I would've liked if only the drop had been integrated better-- and a nicer set of wheels wouldn't hurt either. It looks as if they designers got lazy towards the end and decided to just leave the drop bulging over the trunk. And as for the Gullwing... what a shame. Sadly, I don't think it's a wrap.

Yeah, the Lamborghini-style scissor doors look cool-- but other then that, the first car is the worst I believe. They have badges INSIDE the car! IDIOTS.

I just think you would look like a huge tool rolling around town with your roof parachuting your every step because it's sitting right on top of your trunk-- (also) possibly obstructing your view from rear-view mirror.

And yes, ELITE FTW!!! The TVs are simply amazing. I always had an Elite of some sort hanging from my wall.

I hate companies who take regular cars and attempt to make them their own. Fisker too... I like my Mercedes to stay... a Mercedes.
Maybe your colors are off on your computer screen. Re-calibrate and allow a second opinion.
I know of two, not sure which you were referring too but enjoy anyways:
Number One:
Yeah, real classy there Clouseau.
Number Two:
I think it's just a rendering, but an ugly one still.

So that's not vinyl? I thought it was just sticker'd to hell and back. Guess it's a bigger waste then I originally thought. Did you happen to see it in person?

Jesus, the work on the car is absolutely ridiculous... I have just one question: WHY!? I know it's an SL500, but why...? He put the "bling" badges on the passenger side. Have you seen the rear? Not sure they finished entirely, the exhaust looks to be hanging out a bit? For some reason the page refuses to load for me at this point, but if you've seen it you know what I mean... hideous creation. hogwild ahahahahaha lmfao

Who honestly thought that would in any way shape or form be a good idea? I don't know what's worse, the steering wheel or the useless gauges custom fabricated to the top of the speedo.

They did two cars for the show, an SL65 and a Touareg.
