1992 SL500 AMG
sorry to sl55 owners
i was duped as i first time buyer, looked at the car but not close enough,amg yes but not sl55 more like sl500 some one had swaped the tags around. so for this my wife has her dream car (parked the ford) and i now own a mb it's one of those jap imports but is still is left drive, anyways sorry guys (gals),the car is solid so with some tlc alls good

heh he bought a imported car with AMG poser badges thinking it was an AMG his wife thinks she has the car of her dreams, but really doesn't? Anyways I would imagine it's illegal to sell a customer with the wrong badges claiming it's an AMG so sue them. Unless they are in Japan of course.

SL55 AMG
I think he's saying he bought an SL500 (which perhaps was badged or made to look like an SL55) believing it was an SL55...the car was originally a Japanese market car with left drive instead of right drive which is standard in Japan, India, UK etc... he gets the car and gives it to his wife who loves SL500's and now they no longer drive the Ford...since this car was such an eyecatcher apparently he's apologizing to others who may have been interested in this car since now it's off the market....anyways that's my breakdown, I could be wrong
