Now that my top is fixed, here's some pics

Gave her the royal treatment. Wash, clay bar, wash again, then used a 1 step polish/wax. Still has some swirls in the paint from the previous owner taking it through car washes, but I'll have pro detailer knock those out.

haha. Curious how do you find the nappa dash and doors? I wish my CLS has the nappa leather option available for the dash and doors.

I wasn't sure how I was gonna like it before I bought it. Kind of weird thinking about leather on your dash. Then you see it and it looks great. Nice and soft, stitched well and really makes it look more luxurious inside the cockpit. And even though it's 'black' interior, the seats, doors and dash are 'Executive Black' giving it a bit of a two-tone look.

Couldn't be happier with it.

Lovely pics...While the turbine wheels are growing on me, do you have any plans for wheel upgrade (different style and +1 wheel size change). Are those 18"'s or 19"s? You just need a little more tire/wheel combo to fill in those rear fenders...

So how many times did you caress the sexy Beast after the detail? I do it all the time...my wife gets jealous and says I have two mistresses...

The previous owner had it sitting in the trunk, so I stuck it on there. Not sure if I like it or not.

The 1 step was Maguiars NXT Tech Wax. hand applied, buffer removed.

Dude, my wife laughs at me. Any time I walk past it, I have to run my hand or finger along the hood. After clay-bar and polish/wax, it feels like glass. But you know exactly what I'm talking about.

As for the wheels, of course I'm gonna upgrade em. Since there's only maybe another 2 months of non-Winter weather here, I'll probably wait until Spring. She'll go into hibernation here pretty soon. The stockers are 18" and I'll probably move to 19's, but no larger than that.

And of course they'll be drop in her future.

For a minute there, I thought the car actually had a V12 in there.

I'm gonna look for a W12 badge, and see if I can stir up some real controversy.

Like I said, found it in the spare tire well, popped it on to see how it looked. Most of my cars get completely debadged anyway. Don't fret fellas.
