100mph++ an still chirpin' em...

So this morning, I woke up and thanks to a dream I had, decided to go get some Carls Jr. I got there in one piece, got me a 6 dollar burger which for reasons unknown actually cost me $8.45, a Dr. Pepper, and french fires. I admired my car sitting by the window and enjoyed my meal. Alls well thus far.

So, imagine my surprise, when on this beautiful Sunday afternoon, as I get back in my car and start it... it doesn't. After three tries, it finally sputters to lfe-- like starting a Lamborghini or Ferrari-- it takes a couple seconds. I brushed it off at first... up until I noticed suddenly my ABC light came on, saying I needed to visit the workshop. At this point, I was starting to get aggravated, I hopped out the 600 and briefly walked around it to see if it was leveled, and it was.

So... not knowing what to think, I started heading home. Strangely, when I backed out of the parking space, the tires chirped. Weird, I thought considering I didn't give the car any more juice then I usually did. And as I pulled out of the parking lot, again, at 20 mph, not even a 1/4 throttle, the car chirped and the ESP light came on. I cruised at 25 ish for a couple seconds trying to figure out wtf is going on and I decided to see just how fast I could spin the wheels. I kicked it up a notch and took it to 50, and sure enough, I nearly met a "Albertons" bus stop bench. So, I found an empty street and got to 100 ish and kicked it in gear-- and thank god I had both hands on the wheel because I came this close to eating the curb. The ESP light again, uselessly blinking about. The higher the RPMs get, the more I chirp out.

I couldn't get a 100mph roast for you guys on video because that was just too dangerous, but I did get a 40 (ish) mph run which can be seen here:

CLICK ME!

The strange thing is, the same way it chirps out in that video, is the same way it does it at 100. The only reason it stops in the video, is because I ease off the gas... and on another run, I started at 0, and launched. I went from first to second, to third, to fourth, to fifth all in a matter of 3-4 seconds and I ended up fifth gear at like 40, and still chirping. I launched from 40 all the way to 90, chirping like there's no tomorrow. I don't get what's going on, but it's annoying, I can't seem to launch at any speed without breaking the tires loose. Maybe 120 lol... but 100 was dangerous enough for me.

Also, another thing, the steering wheel pulls super-hard to the right. For a second, I thought I had a flat but nope. Also, it's very bumpy yet my setting is on "C", not "S". And, the car will not raise up or go down, it's stuck on the low setting. So... anyone wanna try and guess what's going on? I'm confused how an ABC failure can cause endless wheelspin at any speed.

And NO, I didn't get any ECU work done or upgraded turbos or IC trunk res or any of that good stuff. Help... I'm scared to even drive the car to the nearest MB tech shop, which is a good 15-20 miles away... it doesn't feel very safe.

1st thought is rear tires near bald or showing cords on mid to inner edge, plus ABC warning could have set SL bit lower & more rigid than stock settings (when ABC is set normal in Comfort mode w/out lowering there is a good bit of suspension play left that enables weight transfer over rears when accelerating under load) if lower or part operational ABC system it will indeed make rear extremly RIGID w/NO suspension play & tire grip EZ to loose...

Snap some pix of rear tires, get as close to inner area by rear dif to see wear paterns possible cords showing?

I'll snap some pics in a bit. Looking to have the SL in the shop this week and see what decided to break this time.
