TPMS ISSUE
My dealer cant figure this out, adn my new wheels are in and i dont want to be changing out tpms sensors with 5k worth of wheels and tires being mounted and dismounted so i need to get this figured out asap.
My car keeps saying i need to activete tire monitors, i get a warnign everythime i start it. but i can go into themenu and see the pressures. it occasionaly gives me a fauly flat warning and goes away.

any ideas?

I just had my TPMS disabled via STAR (I think, tech did it for me). After I switched to 20s, I had the light come on or whatever and it just got annoying, so out it went.

I GOT AM FORGED PRIMES, I DIDNT PUT THEM ON YET. THIS WEEK THOUGH. IF THEY CANT FIX IT I WILL HAEV THEM DISABEL IT, BUT ITS UDER WARRANTY SO I WANT IT TO WORK IF I CAN

my work software is caps only. on the site i hang out onmostly they are used to it, and its like my trademark, but i forget sometimes when i go to other site.

i almost got the custom lic plate CAPS LOCK.

everyone thinks im yelling

Geoff...if they can't figure it out (that is usu. the case...j/k) they should just replace the sensors and see if that is the problem. They can't just say we can't figure it out so live with it...

I had mine disabled when I upgraded mine...but I check mine tire pressure weekly with an electronic hand held gauge. I don't mind...I like checking it that way...but that is me.

The batteries could be done. I had this problem with mine and it was a matter of replacing the TPMS and it was fixed.

So when you are at the Miles/temp screen and hit the up arrow do you get the "drive several min to get the tire pressure"? The batteries last 4-5 years then go flat. Tire Rack has them for $484.06 shipped for the set and new stems.

Could be the receiver has gone TU they should be able to scan and test that box with Star.
