Traking Information source...

Does anyone have a way to track your car WITHOUT going thru the dealer? My dealer seems "annoyed" when I call to get the status of my car. I was wondering if there were some other souce for this information.

I believe this web site should help.

Click Auto and use the VIN number for the cargo ID.

Thank you for your help...do you use the PO number or the VIN number? I assume this is the carrier from the port to the VPC...correct?

Use the VIN. If your car is on the boat, then it should be in their records.

Thank you..car was built 2/19..they do not recognize VIN as yet. Any idea how long it takes from production to the boat?

Did you put in the whole VIN # (letters and numbers)?...doesn't recognize mine yet. Just found out my car was produced 2/19...how long till it gets to the boat?

Ok, it does work, I tracked me CL55 and it says it was discharged at the port on 2-14. How long does it take to go through VPC and arrive at the dealer. (Mine is in Northern VA)?

From what I understand it can be as short as 2 days to 2 weeks, Your CL55 should be released to the truck. You should call your dealer and get an update status.

I saw a 03 CL55 at the Detroit show, It was the best car in the MB Display, Looked Great!!

What color combo and opitons?

I hate to call the dealer, they have always been very professional, but I know they will call when it arrives. Truth is, with the weather in my area (near Baltimore) I would not want to drive the car anyway! It is snowing again as I type!
My vehicle was ordered Alabaster White with Charcoal.
Nav. cd's, phone, and keyless go.
