SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Removing *V8 Kompressor* badge from the fenders. Need Help
I just removed my Kompressor badge, from one of the sides. I have GLUE that is still stuck on the paint and cant get it off even using GUE GONE. Any advice?
I had a hard time removing the badges also, tried heating them up with a blow dryer so the glue would give a little and can't get the V8 badge off.
Any input would be appriciated.
Thank You
KAMIL
dental floss is best for removing badges. m/b seem to like the mint flavored floss!!
btw, gasoline has much much higher petroleum content, but you can spill it on the paint without any effect... so... draw your conclusion.

"I've heard that people use WD-40 as a cleaner/remover. What can it be used on?
WD-40 removes sap, tar, adhesives, labels and tape from surfaces without damaging existing paint. It's an effective cleaner for tools, equipment, and vehicles. Use it to remove splattered bugs from the front of cars. WD-40 will even help remove gum from carpet. Just spray, wait, and wipe with a clean cloth."
