At least he can speak another language (English). What other languages can you speak/write, let alone participate in a foreign language forum?

I can't for the life of me understand why some people will drive their cars so low that it can actually damage the car. About a one finger gap on my SL55 is low enough for me. I think it looks good and more importantly, it is still driveable on the ****ty roads hear on Oahu.

I don't have a problem with the fact his English isn't perfect. Btw I speak Spanish and Italian, I have a problem with some punk telling me MY wheels are the wrong offset an I need a " stretch tire". He knows jack about my car. My wheels are perfect and tires are perfect. Made for my car. What the he'll is a stretch tire? I have been in the wheel and tire business for 14 years and some kid is gonna tell me what's wring with my car. Please.

A stretch tire refers to: a tire that is a minimum width for the rim it is installed on. For example a 245 on a 9.5 or 10" rim. With this fitment the sidewall angles in towards the narrow thread. This is useful for slammed cars as the top of the tire is narrower than say a 275 would be. Therefore minimizing the chances of tire contact with the outer fender wheel.

GFear, you took offense and rather than discussing tires/wheels, you responded with Viet's "lack" of language skills and told him to go back to Vietnam. That's just uncool.

and they look pretty bad in my opinion. looks to me like your setup is cheap when the tire doesnt fit the wheel correctly, but thats me.

We lower SLs pretty regularly. I keep my 55 on the middle setting now, as the ride on the bottom setting is way to harsh.

oh no, you don't want to go there, you want more? I give you more ok? yeah i don't know sh*i*t about your wheel/tires setup..and i dont' care...i just give my opinion because you said your setup rubs...when it was lower..

tires don't fit the wheel correctly doesn't mean it don't look good or cheap (i think your wheel looks cheap..knock-off maybe?) ..by the way you respond..you just butt-hurt when people don't agree the way you think....
sucks huh?, the world doesn't revolve around you..sorry you not that special...lolz

people get stretch tires because they want to get the car lower and achieve agressive stance w/o rubbing.. im sure you know that with you 14 years of experience in the field..

for example here's one..
SORRY I WILL GO BACK TO S-CLASS SECTION NOW..
borrowed pic from one of the member on here..

What do you mean "My setup" I've got stock wheels and tires on my SL600 presently. I was just explaining what a stretch tire fitment was.

That is a perfect example of a tire that doesnt fit the wheel. Keep hackin it up junior. That setup is ghetto and you look like an idiot who cant buy the correct tire and wheel combo with your tires like that. My car rides at the hight in that picture all day without rubbing with 305's on the back on 22inch wheels no spacer and no "stretch tires".

Stick with what you know about, cause this isnt it.

Stretched tires look a bit dangerous to me...isn't there a greater risk of tires popping out when you hit a bad bump? Don't know for sure but it seems that way...

I agree with Dino. Since putting the links on I have tried each of the 3 setting and the lowest setting is a little hard for daily use (even with SBC off) and with my cushy stock 18s...

Hey Gfear,

Do you sell tires? I am in DESPERATE need of four PS2's for the GT-R. We need them installed by Sunday so it can run in the 1 mile event.

Can you help? They seem to be sold out all over the country.

Wheel sizes have an optimal test size of tire ... other than that there is some tolerance plus or minus on the width of the tire but going too narrow (i.e stretched tire) or too wide a tire for the given wheel can risk breaking the beed of the tire to wheel especially during agressive or spirited driving...
