Trunk reservoir installed

I finally got my tank in place and thought I would post some results. I data logged the car for an hour on the way to the shop and drove the same route back when I picked it up to compare. I did my best to drive in the same manner and not do anything different on each trip, going fast in the same places and slowing down in the same places.

Before when I drove it down for the install it was the morning of 10/14 and it was 68 degrees. Minimim IAT was 127. Average IAT over a certain long span on the freeway was 136.7 degrees.

After the install on the way back it was the afternoon of 10/17 and 72 degrees out. Minimum IAT was 106 degrees. Average IAT over the same span as above was 115.3 degrees.

So it looks like from this data that my tank dropped my minumum IAT 21 degrees + 4 degrees of extra ambient for a 25 degrees drop. My average IAT is the same at 21.4 degrees + 4 extra ambient for 25.4 degrees.

It feels a lot quicker and more responsive than it did before. Can't wait to get it to the track. Cory has an updated ECU file for me as well and I'm sending that off Monday.

I'll put up a couple pics of the install once I get them all downloaded.

You need to get it to a 1/4 mile track.

Before and after.

Sounds great, I remember you saying how after the tune you felt like the car didn't change as much, the proof will be in the new 1/4 mile times. How big is the rear reservoir, 5.5g?

Yo I think that hose w/seepage gunk on it is your ABC line, it's fixing to burst get that chk'd ASAP also the zip tie points are wee bit close to the front suspension I'd ask them to re-work that area...I had my tech run them along the edge of those cross bars.

Good catch, I'll check into it. Thanks.
