Powerchip-Travis/Jeremy went above & beyond any expectations truly CLASS ACT!!!
1st big thanks to both Travis/Jeremy, as they went way out of their way to help me, when I was about 35miles from their shop I had a major tire/wheel (right rear) blowout on (405)
Then another HUGE THANKS TO Blue_Monster for the SL loaner wheels/tires you saved my day![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
Late so basics, used Alan Bassan_07's Dynodynamic west coast heartbreaker, fully heat soaked after 2 1/2 hr + drive, straight on the Dyno w/91 octane base-lined 510 RWHP & about 595 RWTQ so as you can see my extra HP mods did/do work tho the RWTQ isn't in the Lunar levels like some DD's floating around these forums![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Jeremy is truly an artist @ work, very methodical chipping away @ graph until everything is optimized & above ALL SAFE 3 1/2 hrs on dyno EZ 30 runs
After Powerchip ECU we saw, 563 RWHP 688 RWTQ (though TQ would've been 700+ my SL kept jumping off the Dyno & literally burning-out on Dyno in early rpm's you can see it @ 2600 rpm's it dips after 688 due to wheel spin & bucking off Dyno![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
They had to double strap it, frnt/rear wheels plus rubber blocks out front, still didn't cure the problem so the runs were babied thru early rpm's...

Under the curve HUGE GAINS were made look @ 4500 rpm's nearly 100 RWHP gain @ that point & 53 @ Peak HP, there's more left on the Dyno just couldn't keep her down.
I'm going to redyno on DynoJet I used a few months ago, but will add 100+ octane & Ice to reservoir/IC's
PS great finally meeting you guys!! We go out for lunch n' beer's on me when I come back to replace borrowed wheels etc...
Only mistake on graph the owner/operator recorded my SL as an 04'? she's 05' baby!

Great to see the extra help, nothing like being broke down on the 405!
Hats off to Ed , Travis and Jeremy.
I also would love to see such an animal (not Sean, the car) at the t r a c k. I have one question.
Mr. Ricker are you signed up for Famoso?

Incredible power man, very impressive
I can imagine the car trying to jump off the dyno and launch like a rocket ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Sean, I would really recommend you try your first 1/4 mile runs at somewhere other than Sacramento. As you already know, the traction at Sacramento is "usually" not so great.... and it seems like the only way to get any type of decent traction is through using the widest-possible rims coupled with full slicks (preferably MT). Given the incredible torque your car is putting down, I can tell you traction will be an issue. I would recommend going to Fontana, Irwindale, or Famoso to practice and perfect your launch then head out to Sacramento for the ultimate runs.
Once again, the car is looking very strong on the dyno
and you may end up giving Sal good competition

I'll ask Ed Blue_Monster if ok to run on stk SL loaner whls 275/35/18's w/plenty O' tread, if yes I'll hit the 1/8th @ Irwindale ASAP, but other tracks up North will have to wait 7+hrs (1) way, I'll want optimal drag setup whn traveling that far.

Tell me about it Mo, I've been telling Sean to get that thing to the track cause I needed some good ole comp in order to get me motivated again. But damn, now I dont know if that was a good idea

Awsome numbers Sean and I'm glad to see PC stepping up again. Like Sal said take that thing to Famoso and borrow some DR's to make a few passes. If not Sacramento is awaiting you. You're making every bit as much power as me plus more torque and I'm sure we'll be a good race.
I'm really hoping that you claim that spot on Dragtimes as the fastest and quickest SL600 on there. That will just add one more top spot to PC's list. That would be awesome if they own the CLS55, SL55, and SL600 spot. Once again, great job Jeremy and I'm glad you finally got your shot at tuning Sean's SL. If anyone's SL600 could break some records it will be his car.
Sean, give me a call when you're ready and I'll meet you up at Sacramento. I have something new that I'll be trying and I could almost guarantee 10's on my next session. I'll probably eat my words but I'm expecting to gain at least .05-.1 and 1 mph with my setup

Forget about running the 1/8th Sean, you gotta come down to Famoso and/or Sacramento. Dont worry about the "optimal drag setup" I know a handful of guys at Famoso that will let you borrow their drag setup while their car is cooling down for the next run.
