whats wrong with my SL65???
i just dyno my 07 SL65 with only 9k miles on it and i only got 464rwhp on dynojet. what is wrong with it??? is it normal?? the only thing i did to the car is removed the mufflers and put in a straight pipe. also the tech couldn't get a RPM signal from my car so i could get tq reading. how do you get the RPM signal from the car??? first pull was 463HP is 3rd gear then 446HP in second gear then 464HP on forth gear. i can't imagen lost of 140HP in the drivetrain.

I was the guy with the SL55 that was next in line. I think the biggest problem was that they couldn't get your car into dyno mode. The couldn't get mine to do it either. Do a search here to figure out how to do it. I finally figured out mine, but since it's an '03 it's slightly different. Mine dyno'd 384hp to the wheels, and then lost 10-15hp each pull afterwards. This leads me to believe that my IC pump still isn't working. Let me know if you get it back on a dyno again. I'm curious as to what that beast actually puts to the ground when the ESP isn't holding it back.

after thinking about it i know why my car dyno those number. the ic pump radiator is on the side and the vent for it is near the fog light. i don't remember the dyno tech face the blowers in there. i'm going back sometime next week to re-dyno it with the blower blowing in that side vent. there must be some way to get a tach reading without ripping open the airbox. sucks with out RPM reading

You need some three-n-one oil on the Fetzer valve, that should do the trick!

Careful, I think you are referring to the oil-cooler behind the passenger side fog light.
On the SL65, the IC heat exchanger is in front of the radiator.
