Any of you fellas know if there is any supercharger made for our 55s out there that is not from MB?

If not. Is there any possible way to port out our stock blowers to make more power?

Never heard of a Supercharger designed to replace the stock IHI unit.

There are a lot of things to work on before porting the supercharger.

I think you should check this thread. It's an australian 55 guru who ported his SC,but it's just a part of the mods he is doing on his E55. The project isn't finished yet.

Vrus & vadim had a project of porting the SC but I dunnoif this has been completed.

Its also possible to swap an SLR 722 complete supercharger + top mount intercoolers

but this is an elaborate project that costs a lot of time & money.

Thanks a bunch for all the help, I called whipple and they said that they have been getting a bunch of calls in regards to the 55K motor. They told me that they can't provide me any information now, but are deeply looking into making something for our motors.

If a 55K motor came out on a whipple it would be crazy.

I would have to drain my credit card on that thing no questions asked.

good deal...keep me posted as I'm interested as well...I've alwasy thought that there had to be some sort of SC upgrade or a way to make this thing even more effective; the stock setup has it's limitations and when modded a lot those limitations become more and more realized...

I'll keep you posted guys, I will also try to contact other supercharger companies to see if they have anything that would work
