BASIC INFO:
Private Label MFG Power Driven Heat Exchangers mount in stock position.
Supercharged Mercedes AMG's tend to overheat under hot weather or extreme driving conditions. If you increase boost or horsepower, expect your intake charge temp to rise even further.
The solution is to add the upgraded Private Label MFG Power Driven heat exchanger. This heat exchanger will significantly reduce intake charge temps allowing you to keep the power
The Private Label MFG Power Driven Heat Exchangers use ( non epoxied) furnace brazed cores ) resulting in better heat dissipation and are welded with CNC precision machined billet aluminum necks.
It has a 1.8 liter fluid capacity and 4000 sqare inches of fin area to help battle the heat soak issues!

FWIW that heat exchanger won't mount in the stock location on an SL55 but it looks like it might be a good unit for a second heat exchanger mounted in series with the OEM.

hmm let me get back to you on that,
i sold one to a right hand drive sl55 and he said it fit , except for the outlets being on the different side,
and i recently had a customer purchase it 2 weeks ago ,
i'll get back to you on that with the customer feedback ,
i wouldn't want to sell something that wouldn't' fit

Has anyone installed this Heat Exchanger? I am hoping to install it on my 2005 SL55.
I purchased it a while back but it has been sitting in my garage for 6 months waiting for a little time (and courage) to install. I will be doing the Johnson pump at the same time.
