There may be extreme poverty in India, but they have made huge strides in education and technology and actually have a huge middle class. I think most of our 'call centers' are outsourced to India, as well as engineering and tech.

Which hotel is that? Last I was at Delhi I was in the Taj and Claridges...they have some nice cars in India, lots of bimmers, benzes etc in the city and around some nicer areas but then they have areas of extreme poverty; it's surreal...I don't know how well the roads can support very stiff sport European suspensions though?

The both of you make good points, however your original post could have been reworded I suppose, anyway you have a nice Sl and you should enjoy it as much as possible you bought it who cares were you live.

For example when I lived in Indianapolis I saw hardly any luxury imports. But when I was driving around in a base Charger (rental for work) I was getting MAD attention lol.

china felt the same way. hong kong was nuts, so was taipei/taiwan. macau was just insane. saw so many S classes.
