Body Kit Opinions anyone Pics and Link
Hey Guys,
I have a 2003 SL55 that I am just starting to Mod ! Finally after getting the bugs worked out of my used 18'600 mile purchase.
I found this kit and was wondering if anyone has seen one here in the US

Like the Front bumper the best and was thinking to go with that and a SL63 Rear bumper.
What do you think ?

I also have a 2003 SL55 that has just undergone a full winter of customizing...it will be fully put together in 10 days or so...you will be stunned to see what I have done. Suggestions: get the Wolverine Claws (or also called extended fins) put on the side as they are truly spectacular on black; chrome your bumper grills - you cannot actually chrome them because they are too thin and will burn up in the acid treatment but I have a guy who can do them and your hood vents/fins for $550 CDN; paint this stripes of your AMG badge red; carbon fiber the interior; swap your mercedes badges for AMG Alfeterbach AMG badges; lower your vehicle...there is so much more and once you start and you will get addicted - the key is to keep it classy and don't overdo it. When you see my photos which I will post in 10 days or so you can judge for yourself and I will provide you with a list of where I got it all done or sourced the parts. By the way, get a 63 rear bumper so you can put the kick *** beefy carbon fiber rear diffuser - it will only fit on a 63 rear bumper, not a 55 or 65.

Also, AMG Fan was a big help to me during this process and he has a kick *** 65! He is very responsive and friendly to inquiries. He went all black (Stealth) with his and I prefer the chrome with the black as it makes it pop but this is all a matter of opinion...when you see his car your jaw will drop!

wow, I have never really been a fan of any kits for the r230, but that is about the perfect look to go with if you want a bit more aggressive and updated version. I would be interested to see how your experience with them goes.

Nemesis, I stare at it in my garage at night even though it is still coming together...don't know if I should kiss my kids goodnight first or my SL!!
I have just come across a company that can take the outer rims of my Savini's and black chrome them...might just do this but it will put me out for another 3 weeks as it takes that long for turn around...also trying to get the brake calipers powder coated red to match the AMG Stripes (I put an AMG log underneath the Wolverine Claws on the sides of my SL...looks stunning!)...like I said before, once you start it is very hard to stop...just got to keep it classy. Had headers put on and larger air intakes...going to have the resonators deleted in a couple of weeks...increased HP by 40 or so.
