Victor,

People like the PS2s but they wear quickly and I've had a couple bubble on me. I run Pirelli Pzeros on my 65 and have cut a 1.85 60' at the drag strip with them, and they grip well on the street, so I am very happy thus far.

BOR,

I'm not claiming to have broken any records, I'm just stating that the tires hooked up that day, and most of the other AMGs with me were struggling to do 2.0 60's.

I should also have mentioned that I did this on my 20s, without lowering tire pressure. 1.79 is also impressive, but I'm not sure if your times on an 18" wheel versus mine on a 20" wheel are comparable, or even if they need to be compared?

Marcus:

Knowing BOR (Clayton).. he was just joking around. I think both 60' times are very impressive!

Guys correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that it would be:

Fr 255/35
R 305/25

When I plug those tire sizes into 1010tires' calculator they recommend 9.5"-10" front wheel and an 11.5"-12.5" wheel for the rear.

Victor--Depending on your location, you might consider all-season tires as well.

When I took of Pirelli 's and put Michelin PS2 on, I got a strange feeling
especially from the back. Also the Pirelli's have an extra strengthening band in side the tyre running round the centre and the PS2 have a softer tyre wall, so I changed back to the Pirelli's, problem solved.
I am not sure whether you get PS2, I think yours are called all season or
all weather.

I LOVE my Toyo T1R's!

I've owned most brands of tires over the years on a variety of cars.

The T1R's are my favorite hands down. Best in the rain, quiet, long lasting, great tread pattern and I cut a low 1.7 60 foot on them!

Highly recommended from this guy!

305/25 would be for 20"
Since he wants 19" it'd be 305/30/19.
