you notice an improvement in performance/braking with the change in weight?

Looks great bro!
Let us know how the brakes feel and respond once you get a chance to drive it.

What happened to the 20" Adv1 7.1 wheels in matte silver you were going with? I know you mention you were selling your 20" HRE 595Rs, but where did these 19" AMG multi-piece twin-spoke light alloy wheels come from? I like these wheels.

will do!

i will order the Adv1 as soon as i sell the HREs. the AMGs have been my everyday wheels for some time now. when i get the Adv1s, the AMGs will be kept as spares.

Evosport brake kit review

gotta say I like the results. On the highway I don't feel the difference so much but once I got to the mountain twists, you could definitely feel the more responsive steering from the lost weight. The look speaks for itself though

Other build notes,

Haven't been able to do the exhaust yet as I just got back from the Canadian GP but hope to soon.

New ideas: this week I'll be ordering a CF front lip and picking up a ScanGauge II and will mount them ASAP.

Still working on offloading the HREs so I can buy the Adv1s.

Spoke with Ivan at DCT Motorsports and he promised to ship the steering wheel and carbon interior this week. I hope so as it's LONG overdue. Can't wait to see it in the car.

i just installed the interior trim kit and CF front lip as well as a ScanGauge II. next weekend i'll probably move it to the passenger side and hide the cable as it will be mainly used in monthly rallys and i always have a co-pilot on board. still waiting for my CF steering wheel and shifter though.

i think i'm done with exterior mods (except wheels) b/c i don't want it to look "like a tuner car"

love to hear your thoughts; good, bad, and ugly.

I like the ScanGauge II....do you have a p/n and a source where I could get that? a link would be great.

Also what does it monitor? what parameters? I know it hooks up to the OBD2 port under the steering wheel on that lower dash panel there right?

I'm not an ebay guy...so I'm gathering info for my friend who will make the purchase for me through his ebay acct if that's the only way to get this. thanks!

I like where I put my ScanGauge. Right on top of the steering column. It's hidden well. Looks like a clean install.

Did you end up finding where they put the M47 Blinder heads?

I know that those bits of kit need to be on full show and not behind grills or anything and I cant see them anywhere on your photos.
