found them. they are behind the new grill on either side of the horns. in the middle is the v1 sensor. this is as per Renntech's instructions

lastly, i ordered the Adv7.1 with runflats so i can remove possibly the most overengineered spare ever

ok i know i said i was done but i broke down and got the Renntech toe link kit. here's the pics.

as for the wheels... they arrived but the rears are hitting the well on any suspension travel. dealing with Adv1 to fix it. here's a teaser pic of what they'll be when fixed

tip: if you look closely, you'll see the res and cat delete

the rear offsets weren't right so the were rubbing on the fenders. i'm waiting for Adv1 to either send me new rears or pick these up and fix them. they haven't decided yet. here's pics of the issue. rest assured as soon as its fixed there will be final glamour shots!

BTW these wheels are MUCH lighter than the AMGs

noone more-so than me

i'd really be curious to drive my finished car and then hop into a stock one and see the difference. lot's of shed weight between the brakes and wheels and more power

too aggressive for me. not rubbing so much as hitting. ADV1 saw the pics and agree it's a problem. they were ordered same spec as my HREs which never hit

Mmmm..

that's not a tire issue. Unfortunately, that looks like 2 new wheels. They might be able to fix the problem with machining them. If I had paid the kind of silly money those people want for wheels, I would expect a resolution right quick like...good luck.

Lots of Custom wheel makers out there are new to the market or getting the manufacturing sourced from elsewhere. Here's a thought...Imagine a disgruntled Chinaman saying "hey where's my *%@*# money!?" working on your wheels where specs are communicated from purchaser to manufacturer and jotted down quickly in a grimy notepad...a dirty dingy factory, boosed up workers...and out of the back comes batches and batches of "custom wheels" ...oh the horror!!

don't mean to scare anyone but this sorta stuff happens out there...still ...

Hey,

nice! Thank goodness for someone who doesn't have everything black, or way too much shiny stuff. What does ADV 1 call that finish?
What brand and size tires? What did they do to fix it, machine them down? Any interference now?
Looking forward to some big pictures...
