Is there a way to lock out dropping the top?
I valeted my car today at lunch.
When the valet brought the car back to me he dropped the top.
I was not a fan of this.
Is there anyway to keep someone from dropping the top?
I know you could put the boot separator up, but that is a hassle.

First and foremost, no one should be dropping your top, second, who in the hell does that clown think he or she is? Third, put a boot in that A$$ with the right amount of force and that will not happen again, Or you can raise the boot in the trunk and let it be a hassle.

I would've been a bit salty if that were my car. To answer you question, I think you're stuck with keeping the partition open as your only option.

Don't you have the smart top module installed? It would be easy for the valet to have accidentally pressed and held the button on the key to have had the top come down...

I have the SmartTop module. The unlock button must be pressed 3 times in order to stow the top. This seemed deliberate.

I did talk to the manager and I got my lunch refunded, and they promised it wouldn't happen again but man that irritated me.
I figured the Boot open option would still alert the valet that he could fix the issue.
I do have the smart top, but there was no accident about it. He dropped it while he was driving towards me. A few of my friends think I am overreacting but I don't think it's OK to drop the top. I feel it's the same as the valet peeling out or something
