Picked up my new '11 SL63
I'll post pics later today after I clay and wax my new baby. This is the first Car I have ever did a build to order. I ordered it in diamond white, red leather, black ash wood, carbon fiber exterior, parktronic, keyless go, ipod and other goodies... Only have 75 miles on it, so still being easy during the break in... Should be fun! I'll keep everyone updated!

Congratulations, a nice combo of cars, roadster, sedan and awd. Very similar to mine.

First thing I did this morning was order the smoked side markers to get rid of those ridiculous yellow/orange ones!! The smoked should look good with all the carbon fiber and smoked tail lights I think..

That's an awesome combo! Take some pics of the interior. Love the black ash wood interior and diamond white on red leather is very tasteful.

Welcome and great looking car. The more I see white/red, the more I like it.
My SL55 was my first new MB. I love mine and the 63 is a great car as well. But I can't decide which is faster.... the car.... or the depreciation!

hahaha.. I know. AMG's are notorious for having a horrendous residual after 3-5 years. I just enjoy my toys for a time and then get something new. I go through cars to fast.. Im a junkie for a new fast model of sports car. I'm sure i'll get rid of it in a few years when the next AMG SL comes out.... In the meanwhile, not worried, just going to enjoy this beast and its melodious growl!!!

I guess keeping cars for 10-20 years negates some of the depreciation. I look at the SL55 this way....... "For what I could sell it for, what can you replace it with that would have the looks, performance and usability". The answer is nothing and so the SL55 stays!

For some reason I end up keeping my cars for a long time, and just keep adding them!! I watched an episode of Horders, and it scared me..... just a little!

i got the smoked as the tail lights are smoked... THought that would look best in relation to that, and with the carbon fiber it sits on top of
