After 4 aborted runs due to excessive wheel spin ( on one pass it spun so hard that the transmission popped out of gear) I decided to feather it out and hope for the best. I accomplished a new personal best. The TCU definitely made a big difference. It used to have a very long delay between shifts and the car would spend most of the pass in between shifts. Now that doesn't happen. In my opinion the TCU is worth at least 1 mph and possibly up to 3mph. Marcin also flashed the car with a VERY aggressive ECU tune that can only be run with a very high octane fuel. The car is making tremendous power. I think it can trap over 135 mph as it sits and possibly hit a 10.40. We're going to the track again Sunday and are hoping for a better prep. Marcin says the ECU has even more power in it Let me get it to hook like this first!!!!

Just to confirm...
The current ECU tune was done in conjunction with the TCU, right? So there's really no way of knowing what just the TCU tune did for you. I understand your previous highest trap was 130, so with the ECU and TCU, you gained about 3.5 mph. I'm really just trying to figure out what to expect from just piggy backing this TCU tune on top of my Eurocharged tune.
Your estimate of 1-3 mph seems feasible, though. I also wonder if it's safe to assume that the 600 V12s could yield better results, given the fact that the 65AMG V12s already come with AMGs speedshift.

A random noob question : How to read "10.70@134.30"
Does it mean that the car needed 10.70 seconds to run one mile , and at the end of the mile the speed of the car was 134.30 Miles per Hour ??

¼ mile my friend covered in 10.7 seconds at a top speed of 134 MPH, but lets find some perspective. I goggled ¼ times for Bugatti Veyron and found 10.8 @ 140. So Marko is a tenth faster than a stock Veyron. That is freaking amazing.

Say what..??!
Are you telling me, that you've got 692 RWHP out of just an ECU (OK also a TCU, but still...)..??
Or was it just a long time ago (and maaany mods ago) since you updated your profile..?
Congrats to an awesome track performance, by the way!
But it HAS to be some other mods to get there, right..?!

Awesome run!
You stated you are running very high octane gas. Is it 100 octane or higher? Leaded perhaps?
105 in the 1/8th is flat out amazing.

Sick times Marko! I look forward to seeing some record passes in your beast. I love the fact that everyone is really starting to raise that bar and challenge us mod freaks. My goal this year will be to catch up to you boys but mods on my platform seem to be coming to an end.
Good luck on Sunday and be safe!

I will have to see if that fuel is available locally. I had to laugh when it says in the data sheet that it provides a boost in performance on 4, 6 and 8 cylinder engines, heh what about 12's!!

Are you looking for VP only or just high octane unleaded racing fuels? I sometimes run a mix Rockett brand 100 unleaded on track days. Here is a link http://www.rockettbrand.com/productspecs/specs.html If you are interested, click on dealer network to see if there is someone near you.
what's the highest level of unleaded fuel someone can get...I always thought it was 100 Octane, but maybe there's higher?? anyone know?
Figure mixing 3 gals of 100 or whatever the highest octane with 3 gals of 93 for a total of 6 gal blended should be a good for the drag strip?? any thoughts...

Out Of Control!!
Called my nearest dealer and he doesn't support them anymore...he told me to call around and check for sunoco suppliers in the area?

MIR sells VP as well as some other local places

It's amazing how fast these heavy cars are going with relatively little mods. Wish the price on those engines would come down!
